For my design concept, I chose a minimal yet bold look, opting for black and white to make the images stand out with a duotone effect. Initially, I wanted to use purple to symbolize feminism but eventually chose to stick with black and white. This decision added a sense of suspense and complemented the title “Method,” which is reflected throughout the magazine. The design process was extensive, involving many different concepts before I found the right one. The photos I used were ones I had taken previously, and they fit perfectly with the theme of women and their secret society. The black and white scheme not only added drama but also unified the magazine under the title “Method,” highlighting a structured approach to both design and content. I am happy with how the magazine came together, especially considering I started without a clear direction. The title “Method” ties everything together, reflecting the magazine’s structure.
