While functional, Ana Luisa's previous app lacked key features that could enhance user interaction and sales. The app's visual appeal did not match the luxury connotation of the brand name, and users expressed frustration over certain elements. For example, Cara James, a 26-year-old corporate professional and gold jewelry enthusiast, felt that the app resembled budget websites like Shein and did not justify the brand’s value.
